Samichlaus Classic

Samichlaus Classic - 14% abv. Touted as the World's strongest lager, the "Santa Claus' brewed in Austria by Schloss Eggenberg is certainly one of the most extraordinary dopplebocks imaginable, and supposedly one of the rarest beers on the planet. It's brewed in a single batch once a year on Dec 6th then aged for 10 months before bottling. You can age it for many years. This one is 3 years old. It's expensive, hard to find, almost overwhelming, and impossible to describe. I made the mistake of having two in one night once. Never again. Try one during or after Christmas dinner.
